An example lesson. First try: “help me plan a birthday dinner.” The AI had to guess how many people are coming, whose birthday it is and your budget, so the coach's one tip is to say who's coming and any limits. Second try: “Help me plan a birthday dinner for my sister, who's turning 50. We'll be 6, and one of us is vegetarian. I have about $80 and 2 hours to cook. Can you suggest a simple menu and a shopping list?” This time the AI used every detail, and the second try earns a bonus.

  • Plan a birthday dinner
  • Answer a bad review in public
  • Is this message a scam?
  • Make a one-page website
  • Make sense of a confusing letter
  • Chase a late payment
  • Rehearse a talk with your contractor
  • Compare two phone plans
  • Catch the mistakes in a quote
  • Build a sign-up sheet for a potluck
  • Research your next car
  • Set up a Monday-morning summary
  • Get a better price on your car insurance
  • Write instructions for your own helper
  • Plan a garden one step at a time
  • Send an agent to compare suppliers

Everyone says you should be using AI. Nobody shows you how.

  • Videos explain it.
  • Articles warn you about it.
  • Someone younger grabs your phone and does it for you.
  • riize gets you doing it.

Every lesson is a real task, close to your own life or work. You write the message. A real AI answers it. Your coach shows you what the AI understood, what it had to guess, and the one change that would make the answer better.

How a lesson works

Four minutes. One real task.

01

Write it your way.

You get a task, like planning a trip. Type your message the way you'd ask a friend, or just say it out loud. There are no magic words to learn.

The app showing a task: plan a few days away somewhere new, with a box to write your message to the AI.
02

See what the AI guessed.

A real AI answers, but you don't have to read a wall of text. Your coach shows what it used from your message, and what it had to guess.

Feedback in the app: what the AI used from the message, what it had to guess, and the one thing to fix.
03

One tip. Then try again.

Just one thing to fix, never a list. Your second try starts from your first, so you see exactly what changed, and how much better the answer gets.

The second try in the app: much better, with every detail used and nothing to fix.

The AI only knows what you tell it.

riize teaches you what to tell it.

What you'll get good at

Six skills. Any AI app.

These work the same in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or whatever comes next. Your coach checks every try against them.

  • Giving context

Who it's for, how many, by when. The details only you know.

  • Saying what you want back

A list, a short text, a table. An answer you can use right away.

  • Breaking a big job into steps

One step at a time, with you deciding at every turn.

  • Checking the answer for mistakes

AI can sound sure and still be wrong. Know when to double-check.

  • Improving your message

Fix what's missing instead of starting over. It's faster.

  • Knowing what not to paste in

Real help without handing over card numbers or passwords.

No scores, no grades. Each skill grows through plain levels:

  1. Getting started
  2. Getting there
  3. Solid
  4. Strong

A quick note to the book club

None of that here.

You're not competing with anyone. You get one kind reminder a day, only if you want it, and nothing that makes you feel bad for being busy.

Then do it for real

Bring it home to your own AI app.

Many lessons end with a real task in the AI app you already use. Paste back what you wrote and what it answered, and your coach looks it over.

Good questions.

I'm not good with technology. Is this for me?

Yes, that's who it's made for. If you can send a text message, you can do this. Everything is in plain words, the text is large and easy to read, and nothing is timed.

Do I need ChatGPT or another AI app?

No. riize has an AI built in for practice, so you can start right away. What you learn works in any AI app, and if you already use one, some lessons have you try it there for real.

How long does it take?

Most lessons take two to five minutes, and the daily challenge about one. Stop whenever you like: your work is saved, even if you close the app.

Is the AI real, or is it all scripted?

It's real. A real AI answers your message, the way a chatbot would. Your coach is an AI too, and it looks at what you wrote and what came back to give you one useful tip.

What happens to what I write?

Private numbers, passwords and email addresses are taken out first. Then it goes only to AI services that don't keep it or learn from it. You can make details up in any lesson, and delete your account any time.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. riize is for iPhone and iPad for now.

Which languages does it speak?

English, Spanish, German and Ukrainian. It follows your iPhone's language.

Your second try will be better.

Start with one task today. It takes about four minutes.
